As we approach the end of the year, We realized we had not posted anything on this blog since September, 2023. This year has been eventful, but there were no trips abroad--we stayed on the East Coast of the United States. Nothing out West, nothing overseas. But, we are going to Vietnam and Thailand for most of January. We’ll have stopovers in Hong Kong and Tokyo, which adds to the trip’s diversity. We will see our good friends in Phuket, Thailand. We will be true tourists in HK, VN and Japan.
This year in this country, we drove South to a cousin's wedding at Hilton Head in South Carolina, We included a visit to Savannah. It was our third trip to Savannah, a favorite place. It is an example of 18th century urban design that modifies to meet the changing times. The view from our friend's home over the water in the early morning was lovely. We also had a thoroughly lovely few days, too, in Asbury Park with friends with a walk along the boardwalk, but did not get to the sands.
in May we celebrated Ben’s 50th Harvard Reunion in Cambridge, Massachusetts, seeing many friends from back all those years ago.
Come Labor Day we made another annual trip North to visit friends and family in Connecticut, Massachusetts and then a few days in Rhode Island.
We did a considerable amount of theater this year, including several Broadway shows.
We look forward to reporting on our trip. Happy New Year.
