We spent this afternoon at a performance of the play "Roe", written about the Roe v Wade decision on choice. What a mind-blowing play. No judgments made, just an attempt to show the backstory from the perspective of attorney Sarah Weddington and Norma McCorvey (Jane Roe). We highly recommend this play. Last night it was "The Wiz", a beautifully choreographed and costumed version of the old war-horse of the 1970s. The cast was superb. The over the top bling was even better. Great fun.
Dinner at the Winchester Inn was superb: parsnip and purple carrot soup with crème fraîche, halibut for Ben, ballotine of rabbit for John. Willamette Valley pinot gris. Lovely.
Ashland is as gorgeous as ever.
