It's been a while since we last posted. We have been stay-at-homes for most of Winter. But, as Spring approaches, we are heading off to England and then to Ireland for a couple of weeks. Not expecting warm weather, but we hope the rain holds off. We are not packing Wellington boots.
Our first stop will be Somerset, west of London, which we will reach on Friday. We'll be going to a wedding for the weekend, so that will be lots of fun. Then on Monday next week we're off to Ireland. We'll finish with a few days in London after eight days of touring the Emerald Isle.

Nice to meet you both after your lunch at The Maypole. It is a shame John that you do not have more time to sample a few more ales from the south west. You are right about the Will's Neck, such a shame you could not have tried the Ginger Cockney.
Hope you enjoy the wedding at Maunsel House and you trip across the water.
